GK’s Background

6 years ago on April 2015 , GoldenKare was born. This blacked own haircare line was created when the CEO’s mother’s hair started thinning because of chemo and other medication. Soon after the Growth Serum was being sent to family and friends to try out and give feedback. After doing some tweaking and making the perfect formula, GK was officially in business.

Get To Know The Woman Behind GoldenKare

Kena (KEY-nah) Dean is the brains behind GK, she is the CEO, Creator and Maker of GoldenKare. In 2009, Kena attended Medix School to start her career as a licensed cosmologist. After finishing the program, Kena went on to work at many salons as a shampoo assistant or hairstylist. In 2015, Kena came up with the idea of GoldenKare. She wanted a product that would be all natural and help with any hair conditions no matter the texture of hair. She started doing research on certain oils and herbs that would benefit the next person. Her mission is for everyone to have healthy hair.
